Arts FYJC & SYJC (A) Compulsory Subjects 1. English 2. Marathi or Hindi or Kannada or Sanskrit 3. Environmental Education (B) Optional Subjects (Any four of the following) Third Language (other than selected as a second compulsory language), Economics, Geography, History, Sociology, Politics, Psychology B.A. A candidate who has passed 10+2 level examination in any stream with English as a compulsory subject & with 45% of marks shall be eligible for admission to F.Y.B.A. Admissions are merit - based. I) Choice of subjects at B.A. Part-I, II and III are as follows: a) B.A. Part-I Compulsory Subjects: 1. English 2. Marathi or Hindi or Sanskrit or Scientific Method Optional Subjects : Any four Subjects to be selected from the following with at least one language: 1. Marathi or Sanskrit. 2. Hindi or History. 3. English or Politics. 4. Economics or Psychology. 5. A.I.H.C. or Philosophy. 6. Geography or Sociology. b) B.A. Part-II Compulsory Subjects : 1. English 2. Inter-disciplinary Logic or Public Administration or History of Social Reforms in Maharashtra (1818-1950) Optional Subjects : Any two subjects for two papers each from the following optional subjects offered at B.A. Part-I 1. Marathi or Economics or Psychology. 2. Hindi or History or Geography. 3. Kannada or Sanskrit or AIHC or Philosophy. 4. English or Politics or Sociology. Eligibility certificate Admission procedure: The application forms for admission & prospectus can be obtained from the college office on the payment of the requisite fees. The admission form should be filled in by the student in his own handwriting and he / she must take admission in person. Admissions will be given on the basis of merit and strictly in accordance with the norms and the reservation policy-guidelines of the Govt. The students will have to pay all the requisite college fees & necessary documents at the time of admission. Admissions will be governed by rules & regulations of the Govt. / University from time to time. Fee Structure (subject to revision from time to time)
